| Featuring "Uncle Gus" who flew in this Lancaster in RAF Bomber Command with four other Canucks and two Brits. Greatest satisfaction of the hostilities were three trips "Operation Manna" dropping food to the Dutch under German truce conditions in 1945 . Flying at about 200 feet we watched the Dutch folks waving their shirts at us. The Hague ~April 29 & 30th. Rotterdam ~ May 2, 1945 |
