All applets on this page have been converted to Janim Applets by simply replacing lake.class with Janim2.class

  Hi Folks,

With the advancement of lake type applets over the years, and David Griffiths's closing his website causing a 404 error or Spigot popups when clicking on a unprepared lake applet using lake class, I for one am converting mine to Janim applets with the simple addition of substituting lake.class with Janim2.class as I have done in these samples I am going to link to as I go along (At 80, I need more siestas than you young folks). With Janim applets, clicking on an unregistered version, you are taken to a free lake card site. However, for the small sum of $12 (US), you can use a registered version that goes nowhere by clicking on the applet. Another bonus of using the registered version is that you can link to anything you want, or clicking on the applet will bring up a message. If you want to view some samples. please visit WABI Lake Applets and view the full page and "Latest Applets"

IMPORTANT **** MEASUREMENTS ****
Width=actual width in pixels
Height=Actual x 2
This formula will give you a near perfect reflection.

If you have a gray skirt at bottom, subtract 5px
at a time from height until gray skirt disappears.
5px removes about 1/8" of gray at a time.

If you think reflection isn't deep enough, add 5px
at a time to height. (Sometimes you might want a short
reflection, so cut off what pleases you.)

If you use a small overlay it will appear at center. However,
an animated one will not.
Regular overlays (Look at above samples) use the measurements of the overlay gif.
